Rupi Kaur

I celebrated the release of, "A Thousand Melodies," by attending a writing workshop by one of my favorite poets, Rupi Kaur.

Rupi said, "Writing is where we go to strengthen our voice. Never stop writing." That resonated with me so much.

Since publishing my first book earlier this year, I have found a new strength in my voice, both written and verbal. I hope my voice becomes stronger, and the fear of what people might think or say, disappears completely.
